Fly Fishing
Fly fishing is an angling method using an artificial lure (a fly) and is considered the most humane as the injury to the fish is minimal.
Spinning
Spinning uses artificial baits (spinners, spoons, wobblers, spinnerbaits) that mimic an injured fish and thus attract predator fish.
Float fishing
An angling method using natural baits targeting a very large subset of freshwater fish including carp, barbel, bream and many more.
Bottom fishing
Using natural baits and weights to target fish that predominately feed on the bottom.
About myself
My name is Rudolf Rajsar and I have been involved with angling since my early years. I love angling and have the passion to present and teach this wonderful activity. Slovenia is filled with amazing lakes and rivers that are home to a diverse fishing population. The influence of nature allows us to flee from daily tasks and stress related activities to relax and regenerate.
I am an active member of several fishing families in the region including Slovenia, Croatia and Hungary.
Angling in Slovenia
Slovenia might be one of the smallest European countries however is full of diverse water environments. The geographical structure allows for existence of springs, gorges, rivers and lakes that formed naturally or artificially. There is a total of 9000 hectare of water that will make you enjoy the magical rivers being born in the alps and disappear in karst lands. Anglers from all over Europe enjoy Slovenia’s flora and fauna with the chance to catch a true giant.

Fishing school
Angling equipment available for rent from rods and reels to waders and natural/artificial baits.
Accommodation
We can accommodate food and beverages for shorter trips or book rooms in hotels with 3 or 4 stars
